Report Summary:

The outlook for personal consumer electronics devices has improved over the past two quarters. Our survey of nearly 6200 households finds that purchase intentions for tablets, iPods and smartphones have increased across most countries, reflecting the slowly improving economic environment. The star products have been Android devices, which have seen the biggest improvements and now lead iOS devices in every country in both smartphones and tablets. This Bulletin presents purchase intention data for personal devices across the US and EU4 (Fra, Ger, Ita, UK).
