The preference ratings of three of the world’s leading technology brands, Apple, Samsung and Sony, all declined during 2014. The strongest performers were emerging Chinese brands Lenovo and Huawei, although based on current trends it will be some years before they threaten the position of today’s leaders. This Bulletin presents consumer preference rankings for 21 consumer technology brands: Acer, Amazon, Apple, Asus, Dell, Google, HP, Huawei, Lenovo, LG, Microsoft, Motorola, Nokia, Panasonic, Philips, Blackberry, Samsung, Sanyo, Sharp, Sony and Toshiba, as well as changes in performance over the past two years, based on a survey of more than 6000 respondents in the US and Europe.
