According to our latest survey of more than 6500 households intention to buy each of the established TV games consoles has fallen over the past six months. But the Wii U has made a promising start by entering the rankings as the number one home console in terms of purchase intention. Interest in Wii U is strongest in the US, while intention to buy PS3 and Xbox 360 has declined less dramatically than for the existing Wii. This Bulletin presents purchase intention data for Games Consoles devices across the US and EU4 (Fra, Ger, Ita, UK).
