Facebook Profile 80 Penetration of Student Demographic

Report Summary:

Facebook is widely recognised as the dominant social network platform, but reach and usage data are nevertheless astounding. Our ConsumerMetrix survey shows that 80% of full-time students use Facebook at least weekly, compared to 59% of the total sample. Facebook users are weighted towards middle income and education level demographics, and tail off sharply in the highest income groups. A third of Facebook users access the service on a mobile phone. This Bulletin presents selected survey findings related to users of Facebook.
