Report Summary:

Cloud media and digital locker services, which allow consumers to store their content online and stream it to connected devices, have begun to emerge in Europe over the past year or so. 11% of European respondents have used one of these services during the past week and more than a quarter at least once during the past year. The service with the most users not surprisingly is Apple’s iTunes Match/iCloud but Dropbox also has significant numbers of users. Other cloud services available in the US had not launched in Europe at the time of this survey. This Bulletin presents the results of a survey of more than 4000 respondents in France, Germany, Italy and the UK and covers Apple iTunes Match/iCloud, Dropbox, OnLive and Gaikai.
