Only 10% of UK households have not paid for television, video or cinema during the past year. Freeview has a 50% share of some lower income households, but falls to less than a quarter in higher income groups. To complement the recent eForum seminar on the future of free-to-air TV, this Bulletin profiles pay and free TV households, including Sky Digital, Virgin Media and Freeview, in the UK.
