Report Summary:

Worldwide B2B smartphone shipments declined 4.5% YoY the fourth quarter of 2019. In total, vendors shipped 116.5 million smartphones to enterprises during 4Q19, which was up 7.7% from the previous quarter.

The worldwide B2B tablet market also continued its downward spiral in the last quarter of 2019, with 18.0 million units shipped globally for a YoY decrease of 17%, but increased 24% compared to Q3 2019. All regions recorded negative YoY growth, except Central & Latin America, which recorded a 4.7% YoY growth.

The coronavirus will be a major challenge for the next few quarters for OEMs at least. We expect all regions will take a hit under the crisis and post an annual decline in 2020, as many disruptions have been felt across the supply chain with a delay of new launches expected.
