Q1 '20 - Quarterly B2B Mobile Devices Market Snapshot

Add to Cart

Report Summary:

Worldwide B2B smartphone shipments declined 7.1% year over year in the first quarter of 2020, but suffered one of the largest quarter-over-quarter declines in Q1 2020, due to the COVID-19 outbreak. However, we have seen a relaxing of rules to allow workers to access work files and cloud apps, which is an extension of BYOD policy. In the meantime, the worldwide B2B tablet market reached an all-time low, with a YoY decrease of 15.5%. All regions recorded negative growth, except Western Europe, which remained flat. Out of necessity, many companies have prioritised the ‘now’ and issued workers with laptops to support their staff, customers and suppliers, and orchestrate responses to supply chain disruption. We have also seen a relaxing of rules to allow workers to access to work files, productivity & collaboration and SaaS apps.
