Huawei held its 16th annual Global Analyst Summit in Shenzhen, China, from April 16th-18th. The theme of this year's summit was "Building a Fully Connected, Intelligent World". Overall, this year’s Summit was largely focused on digital transformation and the value of intelligent networks, powered by Artificial Intelligence, as 5G took centre stage. Huawei’s value proposition is that these intelligent networks, combined with the core business offerings of the company; cloud, networks, and devices—can aid the process of more rapid digital transformation for enterprises. However, with smartphones as the pillar and AI as the driver, Huawei is lagging behind main competitors on its B2B mobile device strategy. This report focuses on the Huawei’s Enterprise Business and IoT strategy and other key findings from the HAS (Huawei Analyst Summit) 2019.
