How Suitable is iCloud for the Enterprise
In October 2011, and almost as a testament to Steve Jobs’ legacy, Apple launched iCloud, which aims to provide ubiquitous access to a user’s personal data. In addition, it also offers the opportunity to access enterprise data across every computing device available. This means enterprise users will be able to rely on the flexibility and agility of a cloud-based infrastructure to instantly share data across devices — including, the iPhone, which sold 47.5 million units in 2010 alone and is expected to sell 89.2 million by end of 2011.
