Strategy Analytics has lowered its Global Business Tablet market forecast due to the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak across the globe. Tablets will suffer a harder negative impact compared to smartphones and growth will shrink more significantly. Strategy Analytics forecasts global business (personal and corporate liable) tablet shipments will grow at a -2.9% CAGR between 2020 and 2025. We expect all regions will take a hit under the crisis and post an annual decline in 2020, as many disruptions have been felt across the supply chain, with a delay of new launches expected.
