Global Business Smartphone Quarterly Tracking Q4 2021



Report Summary:

Worldwide B2B Smartphone Market declined by 1.8% YoY but grew 28.8% QoQ in Q4 '21, led by Apple and Samsung. On an annual basis, the market grew 2.8% in 2021, NA, WE, APAC and Africa & Middle East posted postive YoY growth, except CEE and CLA suffered declines of -17.6% and -9.1% YoY respectively. Post COVID-19, businesses around the world continue to show a need for mobile devices and a willingness to spend on 5G devices, but the industry has been hit with component shortage and the Russia and Ukraine war. Despite all efforts to mitigate the impact, all major vendors' production targets for first half of 2022 have been adjusted downwards. SA will continue to monitor the crisis closely and provide an assessment of the implications the crisis presents for the B2B Smartphone and Tablet markets in our Q1 '22 quarterly and forecast reports.
