The global 5G B2B smartphone shipment grew 194% YoY but down 13% QoQ in Q1 2022. 5G B2B smartphones are expected to reach 31% of the global 5G smartphone shipments in 2022, compared to 27% in 2021 and 14% in 2020. From a volume standpoint, APAC accounts for more than 60% of the global B2B 5G shipments, followed by NA at 22% and WE at 14%. Smartphones are being purchased to support WFH and hybrid working environments. With 5G, it also means enterprises can continue to evolve their digital transformation strategies.
