Global Business Tablet Quarterly Tracking Q2 2022

Report Summary:

Worldwide B2B tablet shipments down -14.36% YoY in Q2 '22. Economy contraction and tightening budgets are the leading causes for the reduced quarter. BYOD down -11.2% and Corporate-Liable tablets also dropped -19.6% from the same quarter last year. All regions registered negative growth. However, shipments of detachable tablets have accelerated. These devices have gained traction as primary devices for work and shipments grew strongly as Apple, Samsung, Lenovo and Microsoft helped push the form factor with their respective products. Furthermore, Google sees a bright future for Android tablets and is focusing more on improving its software in terms of device connectivity, security, and interface.
