The third quarter of 2020 resulted in growth of 1.4% YoY and 25.7% QoQ, in global B2B smartphone shipments. The global smartphone market showed signs of improvements. This can largely be attributed to the re-opening of economies as COVID-19 restrictions were gradually relaxed. Stimulus checks by local governments and solid demand due to remote working and studying, also played a role behind the quick rebound. Central Latin America, Central Eastern Europe, and Middle East Africa all posted double digit annual growth rates this quarter; However, North America, Western Europe, and Asia Pacific saw annual declines, mainly due to the late launch of iPhone 12 models.
