Sierra Wireless Ramps Device-to-Cloud Offering with Numerex Acquisition

In August 2017, Sierra Wireless, a leading provider of device-to-cloud solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT) and the leading provider of IoT connectivity modules globally for six years running, and Numerex, a global PaaS provider of managed services for the IoT, entered into a definitive merger agreement, under which Sierra Wireless will acquire Numerex for US$107 million.
