Global smartwatch revenues in Q4 2018 were up 47% YoY while the industry ASP rose slightly due to the Apple Watch Series 4, offset by the more affordable Fitbit Versa. Apple remains the revenue leader, while Samsung held steady after a strong Q4.  Apple and Huawei have met limited success with ultra high-end smartwatches, therefore it is the sub-US$500 segment that counts for roughly 8 of every 10 units sold and, more than 60% of dollars spent.
