Report Summary:

This report summarizes the encouraging findings of one part of our recent consumer survey into the potential market for tablets in the US and UK, and provides a guide to price sensitivity and elasticity. We show that consumer propensity to pay for a tablet can be affected by the experience of physically handling a device such as the iPad. We quantify the expected effect on demand from changing the pricing of high tier tablets, and also highlight the importance of developing pricing strategies for each price tier of the tablet market.
