Report Summary:

Notebook PC shipments declined -13% in the second quarter of 2023 versus the same period a year ago and totaled 47.4 million. While the PC market has continued to contract versus its high point during the COVID era, there are early signs of stabilization. Importantly, the notebook PC market between the 1st and 2nd quarter grew on a sequential basis, the first time it has done so since 2021. Healthy back-to-school demand in the 2nd quarter will pave the path for continued commercial recovery in the latter half of the year, though volumes will be lower in 2023 than in 2022.  This report contains quarterly global notebook shipments by operating system (Windows, MacOS, Chrome, Others) and top five vendors (Lenovo, HP, Dell, Acer, Apple, Others) from Q1 2015 through Q2 2023.
