Notebook PC shipments declined -13% in the second quarter of 2023 versus the same period a year ago and totaled 47.6 million. While the PC market has continued to contract versus its high point during the COVID era, there are early signs of stabilization. Importantly, the notebook PC market between the 1st and 2nd quarter grew on a sequential basis, the first time it has done so since 2021.
