OPPO delivered another strong quarter in Q3 2017. The vendor soared a +45% annually by shipment volume and solidified the 4th position in global smartphone market. It maintained the largest smartphone vendor in Asia Pacific this quarter. Its smartphone wholesale ASP was up from a year ago, thanks to the greater portion of high-end R series and F series shipped this quarter. The operating profit margin has recovered sequentially but still declined annually. OPPO’s growth momentum will slow down given the intensified competition in home market and unbalanced regional mix.
