Strategy Analytics predict global smartphone shipments will decline -7% YoY in 2020, mainly hit by the outbreak of coronavirus. All the regions will post an annual decline this year. The aftermath would extend to 2021. Samsung will solidify its leading position in Europe, Central Latin America and Africa Middle East, while Apple will remain the top position in North America. Huawei will maintain the top in Asia Pacific, but it will keep losing ground in overseas market. No one win, almost all vendors will ship less under the outbreak.
