However, we expect global smartphone shipment will come back with +12% YoY growth rate in 2021. All major OEMs will see a tough market and ship less smartphones this year, but a solid rebound is ahead in 2021. Samsung will maintain the leadership in 2020 and 2021, followed by Apple. Huawei / Honor face huge uncertainties and unknowns even with 4G chipset supply. Leading Chinese vendors Xiaomi, OPPO and vivo would benefit from the sharp fall of Huawei next year.
