We estimate 6.2 million handsets were shipped in the UK in Q2 2019, declining by -9% annually. Apple kept no.1 handset vendor across all four major UK operators during the quarter, largely boosted by healthy sales of old flagships iPhone 8 / 8 Plus as well as the new flagships including iPhone XR and XS Max. Samsung and Huawei trailed Apple across four major UK operators during the quarter. This report tracks quarterly handset vendor market share at the four major UK operators -- EE, Vodafone, O2 and Three -- from Q1 2009 to Q2 2019.
