Report Summary:

Global smartphone shipments decline  -3% annually in Q2 2019. The new and emerging "Next Forty Five" countries that we track account for 24% of the global smartphone volumes worldwide. Samsung led in 39 out of 45 countries. Indonesia, Thailand and Philippines were placed the top five of the forty five, in terms of shipments in the quarter. The  45 "new" countries tracked include:  Argentina, Algeria, Australia, Austria, Bangladesh, Belgium, Chile, Colombia, Denmark, Ecuador, Egypt, Finland, Ghana, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Iran, Israel, Kenya, Malaysia, Morocco, Myanmar, Netherlands, Nigeria, Norway, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Switzerland, Sweden, Singapore, Taiwan, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Venezuela and Vietnam.
