Apple held the top spot across all major carriers, but shared top-ranking with Samsung with one operator. Microsoft and HTC lost yet more ground, while Samsung, LG and ZTE made improvements due to better product portfolios. T Mobile was the standout operator, as its share of handset volumes is now at the highest level for four years.
