Global handset shipments declined by -2 % annually in Q2 2019. The new and emerging "Next Forty Five (45)" markets that we track accounted for 27% of the global handset volumes worldwide. Samsung led in 36 out of these 45 countries. Indonesia, Bangladesh and Nigera were the top three ranked in terms of handset shipments in the quarter. The 'Next Forty Five' countries tracked included: Argentina, Algeria, Australia, Austria, Bangladesh, Belgium, Chile, Colombia, Denmark, Ecuador, Egypt, Finland, Ghana, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Iran, Israel, Kenya, Malaysia, Morocco, Myanmar, Netherlands, Nigeria, Norway, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Switzerland, Sweden, Singapore, Taiwan, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Venezuela and Vietnam.
