In Q3 2011, global handset ASP finally dropped to $142 after rising 4 consecutive quarters. Apple’s sales dropped during the quarter dragging down the total industry’s ASP as well. So we view this dip as something temporary and prices will rise again in Q4. But in 2012 as smartphones hit the mainstream market and target the Emerging Markets we believe prices will inevitably go down. Nokia remains to be the number one in revenue terms in Central Eastern Europe and Africa Middle East. Apple is also still number in North America but Samsung has taken the number one spot in Western Europe, Central Latin America and Asia Pacific during Q3 2011.
