LTE-Advanced handsets are gaining momentum across developed and technology-driven market such as the US, China, Japan and South Korea. In Q2 2017, China has become the biggest LTE-Advanced handset market, followed by the US and others. In terms of LTE-Advanced handset penetration out of total LTE handsets, South Korea posted the highest ratio of over 80%. India posted the rather lower LTE-Advanced penetration though this nation is expected to see some faster LTE-A penetration in the next couple of quarters.
