Listening to the Listeners Mobile Music Survey Results
During December 2013 Strategy Analytics’ Global Wireless Practice (GWP) surveyed just over 500 mobile phone users in each of six mobile markets (China, France, Germany, Spain, the UK, and the USA). The survey is used as a discovery tool to better understand the use of media services on their phone. This report focuses specifically on questions relating to music consumption on mobile phones. Which demographics are attracted by music bundles? How do users get music on their phone? How do mobile data bundles impact on music streaming?
