Report Summary:

Apple iPhone shipments worldwide fell -1% year-on-year in Q1 2017, due to overstocked inventories during holiday quarter and weaker-than-expected demand of iPhone 7 model. iPhone 7 ranked the top chart, but didn't match the record created by iPhone 6 two years ago. However, iPhone 7 Plus maintained strong momentum and surpassed predecessor iPhone 6 Plus and 6S Plus being the best-selling Plus model ever. This report details global shipments for every iPhone model since its launch in Q2 2007, from the iPhone 2G to the iPhone 7 Plus. The data is especially useful for mobile operators, retailers, component-makers, vehicle developers, the channel and technology industry watchers of all kinds.
