In Q3 2017, Huawei delivered a solid result with 16% YoY growth in its global handset shipments. In order to maintain its position as the third largest shipper of handsets globally and to potentially threaten Apple, Huawei needs to push harder into the North American and Indian markets that still remain weak spots for it.
