ZTE’s global handset wholesale ASP and revenue improved to their highest levels in ten quarters in Q2 2017 even as shipment volumes fell YoY. More flagship smartphones are needed in its line-up, which remains more heavily skewed to the lower end than that of some of its competitors. ZTE needs to continue to put more emphasis on the higher tier devices to drive continued revenue growth.
