On the 10th of October 2017 Nokia announced that it will stop the development of its industry leading professional virtual reality 360 degree camera OZO. Nokia justified the decision by citing a slower than expected take off in demand for virtual reality content. This is a big blow to the professional VR camera industry where OZO has been one of the leading devices in what is a nascent but fast growing industry.
