This presentation was given at the recent Connected World Summit and presents key findings and datapoints from our new survey of smart speaker early adopters. The survey interviewed more than 37,000 participants in order to identify users of smart speakers and address attitudes of non-users towards smart speakers, while the core survey focused on 4013 users of smart speakers to understand device ownership, usage and impact on activities such as media consumption. Subscribers to the Smart Speakers service are invited to contact the analyst team with any additional questions on the survey data, including requests for crosstabs from the dataset, or deep dives into demographic segments, brands or any other aspect of the research.
