Report Summary:

This research leaves us in little doubt: smart speakers are a hit with the vast majority of people who are now using them (11% of the population in our covered territories). Satisfaction levels on most aspects are in the 80-90% range and nearly two thirds expect to buy another one within the next two years. Two thirds of users say that smart speakers have greatly improved the way they get things done, and nearly half go as far as saying that they couldn’t now imagine life with smart speakers. Voice control is now increasingly preferred to using touchscreens and keyboards. This report presents the results of a consumer survey carried out with 4013 smart speaker users in the US, France, Germany and UK in July/August 2018.
