The results of our latest US user survey demonstrate once again how successful the smart speaker business has been. User satisfaction levels remain extremely high and more than 70% of users say they will buy another device within the next two years. Listening to music and getting fast access to information remain the leading purchase drivers, but controlling connected home and video and TV devices is also popular; more than a third of users are using smart speakers to find shows and play them on TV. This report presents detailed findings from our survey of more than a thousand smart speaker users in the US, addressing critical topics such as attitudes towards voice control, purchase intention and motivations, retailers and channels, device ownership, usage and satisfaction, and brands.
