This report is a summary of the 2019 Smart Home Survey findings for Germany. The total project covered four countries: France, Germany, UK and US.
We polled 3,470 consumers in Germany to identify those that owned one or more smart home solutions. Our goal was to have at least 1,200 smart home households in the sample to probe:
- Why they bought smart home products
- How they found out about them
- Where they bought them
- And which device or solution did they buy first, next, and so on
We also wanted to know the reasons why some people aren’t interested in smart home solutions so we can advise clients how to address those inhibitors.
