Adoption of smart home solutions continued to grow in 2020 driven by increased awareness of the capabilities and benefits of the solutions. Prices for both services e.g., monitored security and devices, declined making smart home products and services more affordable for a wider range of consumers. Globally more than 270 million homes had at least one smart device at the end of 2020; this number will increase by 46% to more than 400 million by 2025.
