Presentation delivered by Bill Ablondi at the Smart Home Summit in Canary Wharf, London, UK September 30, 2015 entitled “So Many Devices, So Much Innovation, BUT… Who Will Pay?”
The presentation presents some summary findings from Strategy Analytics’ Smart Home Survey and Segmentation Analysis. Specifically, it shows that difference among consumer segments are greater than country differences in terms of identifying which consumers are likely to buy smart home products and services.
Three segments in the European countries surveyed (France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK) represent the greatest near-term potential for smart home sales: Green Nesters, Impressers and Millennial Males; all of which are profiled.
