Global sales revenues for Consumer Electronics devices rose 6% in 2017 to $680 billion largely driven by a recovery in the Smartphone market although pockets of growth existed elsewhere including Game Consoles, Wireless Speakers and Digital Media Streamers. 2018 is expected to be another year of solid growth for the industry as last year's key growth categories continue to perform well while Tablet and TV revenues return to growth following a number of years of decline.
