Following the pandemic-related decline in Q2, the Central and Latin American connected TV device market bounced back in Q3 2020 as shipments rose by 24% year-over-year during the quarter. Smart TV led the recovery with shipments up nearly 30% versus the previous year while standalone media streamer sales also grew a solid 13% annually. Samsung's Tizen platform accounted for 25% of all units sold in the quarter followed by Android TV/Chromecast on 16% and LG's WebOS with 14% share.
