The Strategic Impact of Milsatcoms on Electronic Warfare

Please contact us to discuss pricing Contact Us

Report Summary:

MilSatComs and EW technologies have become vital elements of military power, both in supporting roles for kinetic weapons and, in the case of EW , as weapons themselves. Strategy Analytics sees the strategic importance of MilSatComs for EW operations increasing though there are several recommendations that will need to be successfully implemented over the next decade to ensure full efficacy. This includes continued technical advancement, the synergy of ISR, EW, and Cyber/Info warfare, the development of Electromagnetic Battlefield Management (EMBM) systems within a net-centric doctrine and most importantly, the recognition of an EW domain and the need for continued investment.
