The month of April included the regular round of financial results being released from industry bellwether companies such as Airbus Defence & Space, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and Raytheon.  Companies were in general reporting increased revenues for the first quarter of 2018 which tracks with trends for a positive growth trajectory, that mirror overall defense spending forecasts.
