Report Summary:

Financial reports for the quarter are almost universally positive, but revenue declines at companies most closely associated with handsets seems to validate forecasts of declining consumer demand. Despite this, industry groups are reporting record performance from equipment and silicon wafer manufacturers. SiC has taken center stage with announcements of capacity expansion and multi-year supply agreements.
