On September 15th, 2020, Tactile Mobility announced that BMW is to be its first customer for its tactile sensing service using crowdsourced data and Artificial Intelligence for Cloud-based analytics.  The first applications of this sensing concept will be warn other drivers entering the location of slippery road conditions, supporting V2X communication, and to warn of impending tire wear.  The concept has the potential to expand to cover more auto makers and more applications.
