Report Summary:

This year’s update is dominated by the recovery from the COVID-19 global pandemic and the impact of shortages of key automotive semiconductors.  Most risk remains on the downside.  However, due to the steep falls in 2020, Strategy Analytics expects growth in 2021 and beyond, despite the semiconductor supply issues.  The market for automotive electronic systems is thus expected to grow at a CAAGR of 12.9% over 2020 to 2025, with electrified vehicle systems leading the way.

Three additional scenarios can be explored in the "Main Data Tables".  These examine the likely impact of either a significant semiconductor shortage or a combined semi shortage and resurgence of COVID-19, as well as a more optimistic scenario.
