Freescale Semiconductor held its annual Freescale Technology Forum (FTF) Americas on June 20th -23rd, 2011 in San Antonio, Texas. Approximately 2,000 designers, engineers, industry experts, executives and hardware, software and tools partners attended the forum that had the theme of "Powering Innovation". Freescale showcased its technologies and products including two automotive infotainment/driver information examples:
- Live demonstrations of its ARM based i.MX 6Quad applications processor;
- The Qorivva MPC5645S MCU family of 32-bit microcontrollers (MCUs) built on Power Architecture technology to power automotive instrument cluster applications.
