TomTom revealed IndiGO on the 30th November 2021, the open digital cockpit software platform built on Android Automotive OS, which promises OEMs to keep their brand identity and the ownership of their data, to shorten their development cycles to 18 months from kick off to SOP, and to enable affordable, continuous, and scalable improvements in-house throughout the life of the vehicle. At Strategy Analytics, we got a sneak peek of an IndiGO’s head unit demonstrator, to experience first-hand how the product could look.
