Vehicle Purchase Behavior and Priorities of Chinese Consumers
This report presents the findings of Strategy Analytics’ consumer survey and consumer focus group research on Chinese consumers’ vehicle purchase priorities and behaviors. The vehicle brand, safety features, and purchase price were rated as the top three priorities when purchasing their next vehicle. Chinese consumers would make their purchase decision based on the information on manufacturers’ website, professional vehicle magazines and websites, as well as the test drive experiences. Most participants were willing to pay for safety related features. However, participants exhibited less interest in communication features and infotainment/entertainment features.
